Virtually everyone following politics has heard of the #Qanon story. Religiously followed by a growing mass of disciples and vehemently assaulted by a variety of left wing propagandists ranging from Vice to Newsweek, the validity of its claims have sparked a uniquely passionate debate on both sides.  The ones championing its teaching as unquestionable truth range from imageboard dwelling millennials to a considerable number of boomers.  Be it truly the broadcast of insider intel or merely the flagship conspiracy of our time, it’s certainly an exciting read that provides quality entertainment for the end times.
But those faithfully trusting in Q to lead the overthrow of the evil “deep state cabal” and restore American democracy to the people may be missing a much darker purpose for the Qanon posts.  Used as a highly efficient propaganda tool, Q’s drops may actually be aiding an attempt to dismantle the judiciary altogether.  Should it succeed in pushing this distrust across the public through the oft-cited “Great Awakening, this narrative may actually serve to weaponize Americans into removing the only barrier left to toppling democracy and clearing the way for an Emperor to ascend to the throne. That is, of course, assuming that a coup d’etat has not already taken place.
The basic theme to the Qanon 8chan posts are that Trump and Sessions are frantically working behind the scenes to bring down what we all now know to be a very real and very corrupt deep state shadow government.  The antagonists — corrupt intelligence agency officials, congressmen, and news media plants — did not expect Trump to win and therefore are in “panic mode” over a number of crimes committed over the last eight to twenty years.  These crimes allegedly range from what we’ve seen already (election rigging, dark money, bribes take by elected officials and intelligence agencies) to the far-fetched (mass sex trafficking and pedophilia among elected officials). Some predictions have failed (Hillary Clinton being arrested in October 2017) while others have been eerily prophetic (the pope’s bizarre suggestion of changing the Lord’s prayer).
Perhaps the most compelling narrative is Q’s assertion that high level crime and corruption has been committed within Obama’s Department of Justice and heads of the intelligence agencies, going up to his Chief of Staff Loretta Lynch.  Q compares the systematic dismantling of these “bad actors” to defusing a bomb: the right wires must be cut to disable the mechanism without detonating the entire thing. In this case, the “explosion” of an inadvertent detonation would be the complete collapse of the entire Judicial Branch of America. Q warns that if such an event could occur, all court rulings throughout this period of time could be rendered null and void, and ultimately be challenged according to our current legal channels.
But what if this is the actual plan?
Thanks to the perfect storm of recent disasters ranging from James Clapper’s NSA spying (and perjury upon questioned of it) to former FBI director James  Comey’s destructive letter to Congress about reopening the Clinton email case, Deputy director Andrew McCabe’s contradicting testimony, all of the horrors of the recent IG report, and DOJ’s complete lack of prosecution of any of these crimes, the entire foundation of our intelligence agencies and judicial department is weak and may easily be toppled. The public has lost faith in our judicial department, and has lost faith in all of our intelligence agencies.
Correction: almost all of our intelligence agencies.
There is one agency that remains free of scandal, unearthed corruption, and public distrust: Military Intelligence.  Coincidentally, this is the one place that Trump seems to be comfortably nestled within, protected by its rank and file like the walls of an impenetrable fortress.  Some even speculate that the Qanon postings are an MI counter op that was planned since before Trump took the Oval Office:
According to veteran investigative reporter and best selling author, Dr. Jerome Corsi, he was approached three years ago by a group of generals and told that Donald Trump had been recruited by U.S. military intelligence to run in the 2016 Presidential elections, and subsequently help remove corrupt Deep State officials from positions of power. Corsi claims that QAnon represents the same group of senior military intelligence officials who are exposing the Deep State corruption and officials involved in a history of treasonous actions against the U.S. Republic.
Trump has, from the start of his presidency, surrounded himself by generals and high ranking military personnel.  He has given in to their demands even when in strict opposition to his voter base’s opinion. His spending budget was riddled with Democrat concessions in favor of remarkable military spending. In nearly all of his speeches he’s praised his soldiers and even suggested an American military parade.   This is likely why Q believes Trump is completely untouchable by Mueller’s highly biased quest to ignite a Trump impeachment, as indicated in many of his posts.
It is without question that America’s deep state will go full throttle to attempt to sabotage the Trump presidency before their crimes are unearthed and prosecuted.  We now know that Obama had spies inside Trump’s campaign, had FBI agents offering his colleagues damaging information on Hillary on behalf of Russia, and had baited a “Russian Collusion” setup in the strange event that he would win.  Whether or not Trump actually committed any crimes during his campaign is insignificant: Mueller is going to attempt to set the stage for an impeachment vote, and the media will throw everything they have at the public to get them to consider.  If this fails, they will use all of the media weapons at their disposal to grow a public uprising to try to force Trump out of power while rogue intelligence agents (now removed) will try to sabotage any investigations that may deter this.
But through this gamble, they have inadvertently cleared the path for Trump to garner the public support he needs to overthrow the constitution and seize full authoritarian control of America.  He has already successfully (and thankfully) dismantled the public’s trust of the mainstream media by proving their complete corruption.  This is step two of overthrowing any democracy, with step one being garnering control of the military (which Trump appears to already have done).  To complete the transition, he needs to either attain control of or dismantle the judicial branch.  With the unprecedented Democrat stonewalling on all of his judicial appointees, the former may not be possible. But with the massive failures of all intelligence agencies and the years of DOJ failures to prosecute criminal swamp creatures, there is a growing consensus that our judicial system is broken beyond repair.  Should evidence arrive that the DOJ was compromised; the stage will be set for Trump to conquer.
Qanon’s world is built upon a presumed “great awakening” within public consciousness.  But this awakening might actually be a conditioning: a conditioning of the masses to rally behind Trump’s military order at any cost. And its likelihood of success is very considerable: it is without a doubt that any attempt to remove Trump, no matter what the grounds or the crime, will be met with the full wrath of most of our country.  With at least half of the population firmly behind Trump (unironically the half who is likely to own a firearm), and the power of a strengthened military at his disposal, Trump should be able to seize the throne without much resistance.
It’s possible that Q is just a conspiracy theory, and it’s also possible that it’s real.  But to assume either may underestimate its purpose and its potential.  Q may instead be a sign of the empire to come, and a powerful weapon in crafting its long-overdue reign.  If this is a case, we can look forward to an end of many of the liberal woes we’ve seen over the last 50 years.

Five dead in 'targeted attack' at Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, police say; Laurel man charged with murder
gunman blasted his way into the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis with a shotgun Thursday afternoon, killing five people, authorities said.
Journalists dived under their desks and pleaded for help on social media. One reporter described the scene as a “war zone.” A photographer said he jumped over a dead colleague and fled for his life.
The victims were identified as Rob Hiaasen, 59, a former feature writer for The Baltimore Sun who joined the Capital Gazette in 2010 as an assistant editor and columnist; Wendi Winters, 65, a community correspondent who headed special publications; Gerald Fischman, 61, the editorial page editor; John McNamara, 56, a staff writer who had covered high school, college and professional sports for decades; and Rebecca Smith, 34, a sales assistant hired in November.
Two others were injured in the attack that began about 2:40 p.m. at the Capital Gazette offices at 888 Bestgate Road in Annapolis.
Police took a suspect into custody soon after the shootings. He was identified as Jarrod W. Ramos, a 38-year-old Laurel man with a long-standing grudge against the paper.

According to a recent report, some Facebook investors are becoming tired of CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s style of running the company and may be considering a coup.

Just a few months ago, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified before Congress about the Cambridge Analytica data scandal. Shortly before this, during a call with members of the media, including Breitbart News, one reporter asked Zuckerberg whether or not there had been a discussion amongst board members about replacing Zuckerberg as chairman of the company. Zuckerberg paused shortly and gave a short, clipped answer: “Not that I’m aware of.”
According to a recent report from Business Insider, that discussion amongst board members may have taken place. Scott Stringer, New York City’s comptroller, who is responsible for overseeing the investment of approximately $895 million worth of Facebook shares through city pension funds, recently told Business Insider: “We have concerns about the structure of the board that the company doesn’t seem ready to address, which can lead to risks — reputational, regulatory, and otherwise.” Doherty believes that Facebook’s current situation is one of the past that regularly has failed. “The idea that there should be an autocrat in charge of a gigantic public company, which has billions of dollars of shareholder money invested in it, is an anachronism,” Doherty said. “It harks back to the 19th century when you had these robber barons who were autocrats and dictators.”
Business Insider reports that through interviews with multiple investors, the two issues that consistently were brought up by investors were:
  • They want Zuckerberg to step down as chairman and an independent executive to be hired in his place.
  • Shareholders also want Facebook’s dual-class share structure to be abolished because they believe it concentrates too much power into the hands of Zuckerberg and his top team.
Michael Frerichs, the Illinois state treasurer who has invested $35 million in Facebook said that shareholders want Zuckerberg removed as a chairholder for a very simple reason:  “He is not accountable to anyone, not the board or the shareholders, which is a bad corporate governance practice,” he said. “He’s his own boss, and it has clearly not been working.”
Michael Connor, the director of Open Mic, a group which helps shareholders campaign for better management of the companies they’ve invested in, stated: “When you combine the dual roles of chairman and CEO, plus that chairman and CEO personally owns a majority stake of that company, that’s a toxic brew. It means there’s very little room for any kind of dissent.”
Facebook, however, does not seem in any hurry to change their current operations. Following a proposal by shareholders to change the current share structure — which hadn’t been updated since 2009, three years before the company went public — Facebook stated: “We believe that our capital structure is in the best interests of our stockholders and that our current corporate governance structure is sound and effective.” When asked about replacing Zuckerberg as chairman, Facebook stated that such a move would cause “uncertainty, confusion, and inefficiency in board and management function.”All of the investors interviewed assured Business Insider that they truly want what’s best for the company — and for many of them, that means removing Zuckerberg as CEO. “We have the best interests of the company at heart because we are a major investor,” Patrick Doherty said. “We have over $1 billion invested in Facebook at the moment, so we and the other investors coming forward believe that Facebook continues to be a good investment, but there are very serious problems that have to be dealt with.” Scott Stringer stated: “As long-term investors in Facebook, we want to make sure the company is strong,” while Michael Frerichs continued: “It’s about making sure the long-term viability of the company, and with changes in corporate governance, we can reduce some of the risk. ”
Michael Connor discussed the arrogance of Silicon Valley tech companies saying: “People think companies like Facebook are bulletproof, and they’re not. You had companies like AOL and Yahoo come and go. You’ve had people like Travis Kalanick, who was the co-founder and CEO of Uber, who has come and gone. These things can self-destruct.”

Netflix under fire for film critics say contains child pornography

Netflix has come under fire for a movie streaming on their site that some viewers say contains a scene that is child pornography.
The opening scene of the Argentinian film "Desire" depicts two young girls under the age of 10 playing around with pillows. The scene takes a sexual turn involving one of the girls.
The news site PJ Media said it reported the film to the FBI and Department of Justice for child pornography. The FBI told Fox News, "Per DOJ policy, the FBI neither confirms nor denies the existence of an investigation."
The film remains on Netflix's site and a rep for the streaming service did not return Fox News' request for comment. It was not immediately clear what Netflix's vetting policy is for films.
Angry viewers took to Twitter to share their disgust and are calling on Netflix to remove the film and start an investigation.
"@Netflix WHY ARE YOU OFFERING KIDDIE PORN??? #Desire @FBI @TheJusticeDept PLEASE investigate," one user tweeted.
Another wrote, "Watch the first few minutes of the movie Desire from Netflix promotion of pedophilia absolutely disgusting!! Parents should be arrested for this scene alone!!"
"@netflix You need to remove the film Desire from your service IMMEDIATELY. You are MAKING AVAILABLE CHILD PORN by leaving this film up. I am DISGUSTED and will be canceling my service if this is not fixed ASAP. What is wrong with you?!"
According to Section 2256 of Title 18 of the United States Code, child pornography is "any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (someone under 18 years of age)."

House passes measure demanding
DOJ documents
In a 226-183 vote, lawmakers approved the messaging measure, which calls on the
DOJ to turn over all of the documents House Republicans have requested related to the FBI's handling of investigations during the 2016 presidential election.

The party-line vote, with one Republican voting present, puts the entire conference on the record in the escalating feud between the
DOJ and House Republicans, who have been fighting for months for access to a trove of highly-sensitive documents. thehill.com/homenews/house/394604-house-passes-measure-demanding-doj-documents

House passes measure demanding DOJ documents

While the resolution is not enforceable, Republicans say they wanted to send a clear message to the DOJ and are vowing to impeach or hold senior officials in contempt of Congress if they don’t comply with their document request.
The vote comes the same day that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray are testifying in front of the House Judiciary Committee, where Republicans are expected to grill the senior officials.
The resolution will likely serve as red meat for the GOP base as lawmakers head back to their districts for a weeklong recess following two failed votes on immigration over the past two weeks.
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) was initially reluctant to wade into the ongoing feud, but earlier this month he gave the DOJ a deadline of last Friday to comply with a subpoena request for documents, telling senior officials that the House would take action if progress was not made.
GOP leadership, however, said over the weekend that the agency has been making reasonable progress in turning over thousands of documents in response to congressional requests.
But the authors of the resolution — House Freedom Caucus leaders Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) — are unsatisfied with the pace of progress and have criticized the FBI for slow-walking their request.
“Enough is enough. Give us the documents we are entitled to have,” Jordan said on the House floor. “Let's have the full weight of the House behind a resolution saying you've got seven days to get your act together.”
Conservatives are seeking information from the agency on court-approved counterintelligence surveillance of Trump campaign aide Carter Page and the use of a confidential informant in the early days of the Russia investigation, among other things.
Ryan earlier this week did not take contempt off the table, but told reporters that he expects all of the requests to be honored “very, very soon.”
“We do expect full compliance very, very soon, and if we do not get that then we will keep every single option available to us,” he said.
Democrats, however, say the GOP’s resolution is aimed at laying the groundwork for President Trump to fire Rosenstein and undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. The DOJ has also pointed out that it already produced thousands of documents and has even made a special space available in the department to allow congressional staff to come view unredacted documents while they work the rest request.
“This resolution is wrong on the facts, wrong on the law, wrong on the rules, and a dangerous precedent for the House of Representatives,” said Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), ranking member on House Judiciary Committee.

Facebook is under fire for publishing a stomach-churning survey that asked users whether pedophiles should be allowed to solicit “sexual pictures” from underage girls.
The cringeworthy poll surfaced at the top of Facebook’s home page for an unspecified number of users this past weekend, according to a report.
“In thinking about an ideal world where you could set Facebook’s policies, how would you handle the following: a private message in which an adult man asks a 14-year-old girl for sexual pictures,” one question in the survey reads.
The disgusting multiple-choice poll gave users the option to condone the sick behavior, allowing them to vote that the “content should be allowed on Facebook, and I would not mind seeing it.”

Last October, an anonymous user, known simply as Q, started posting cryptic messages on the controversial message board 4chan—the common theme being that President Trump is a secret genius and his opponents, namely Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, are evil. Q reportedly claimed to be getting this information directly from the government, thanks to top-secret, “Q-type” security clearance. There has been little—if any—hard evidence to support Q’s musings. But over time, thousands of people started to believe them—or at least, to acknowledge they might be real. And they became the foundation of a wide-ranging conspiracy theory, known as QAnon, that has been covered by the New York Times and New York Magazine, among others, and discussed in more than 130,000 videos on YouTube. One of its most prominent followers: Roseanne Barr, who tweeted several references to QAnon before being fired from her hit TV show in May. —Melissa Chan
