Fired White House Official Hired by DOJ at Trump’s Insistence

Ezra Cohen-Watnick, a controversial former national security aide to President Donald Trump who was pushed out of the White House by H.R. McMaster, is rejoining the Trump administration. In his new role he will serve as Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s national security adviser.
A 31-year-old former intelligence officer, Cohen-Watnick was brought on to Trump’s national Security Council by Michael Flynn, the president’s first national security adviser. When Flynn’s 24-day tenure ended in February of 2017, his replacement, H.R. McMaster, began cleaning house. But he wasn’t able to remove Cohen-Watnick, who reportedly used his alliances with Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon to stay in the White House.
McMaster eventually got his way, pushing out Cohen-Watnick last summer after he became involved with Representative Devin Nunes and his attempts to prove Trump’s claim that President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower. He then went to work for Silicon Valley tech giant Oracle, according to Talking Points Memo, which said his return to the Trump administration has been in the works for months.
With McMaster out of the way, Trump moved to bring back Cohen-Watnick, Bloomberg reported Wednesday. Trump “personally ordered the Department of Justice to hire,” Bloomberg says, despite a general policy not to rehire people who were fired.

EU is taking steps to protect companies in Iran

The European Union is taking steps to protect EU companies investing in Iran from renewed U.S. sanctions on Tehran after U.S. President Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 nuclear deal.
According to an article published by New Europe weekly on Monday, the European Commission said it has adopted an update of the Blocking Statute and of the European Investment Bank (EIB)’s External Lending Mandate. The move follows up on the informal Leaders’ Meeting in Sofia, as well as the Commission’s announcements of May 18.
“These measures are meant to help protecting the interests of EU companies investing in Iran and to demonstrate the EU’s commitment to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),” the Commission said in a press release.
“The European Union is fully committed to the continued, full, and effective implementation of the JCPOA, so long as Iran also respects its obligations. At the same time, the European Union is also committed to maintaining cooperation with the United States, who remains a key partner and ally,” the Commission said.
On May 8, U.S. President Donald Trump officially withdrew from the UN-endorsed nuclear agreement and plans to reimpose sanctions on Iran.
After the U.S. withdrawal, Iran wants assurances from the remaining parties that its interests are guaranteed otherwise it will resume nuclear activities with a higher speed.

Offical: Iran should attract small, medium -sized  European firms.

Iran should encourage small and medium-sized European companies to invest in the mining sector in a bid to counter the impacts of US sanctions, said the head of Iran Mine House.

Mohammadreza Bahraman told IRNA that in the wake of Washington's withdrawal from the JCPOA, Iran should seek fresh cooperation with small and medium-sized European industries.
"Linking Iranian and European small and medium-sized companies of Iran and Europe can have desirable effects," he said.
He added that these European companies can play a decisive role in producing wealth and generating jobs in Iran.
Bahraman said each small mine can provide employment for 60 people and by improving the efficiency at least 80 other jobs can be generated.
In May, President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled Washington out of the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and has threatened to impose sanctions on European companies that do business in Iran.
US sanctions not only block American firms from doing business in Iran but also bar foreign firms that do business there from accessing the entire US banking and financial system.
Besides, the US has announced fresh sanctions on Iran which will come into force in the coming months.
In response to US sanctions, the European Commission adopted an update of a law that would order EU firms not to comply with Washington's punitive measures on Iran.
The European regulation, called the 'blocking statute', was originally created in 1996 to defend European businesses from US penalties for dealing with Cuba. The system, which was never actually used, permitted European companies to ignore US sanctions and said that any decisions by foreign courts based on the sanctions would not be upheld in Europe.
This comes as European leaders are trying to convince the US to exempt European companies in Iran from sanctions.

Prolly going down the wrong road here, but …

Q post about sun, moon, etc.

Elon Musk.

Heat = Tesla cars exploding
Moon = Full moon 6/27 (or 6/28)
Stars = Musk b-day 6/28
Missions = Space X launch 6/29

Don't know if the dates mean anything, other than pointing to Musk (raw speculation at this point).

Question: Anybody have info on Elon Musk? Seems to be Eric Schmidt vs. Elon Musk re: AI.

Tesla cars exploding. Any info about who was killed in one or more of these? Links to anyone in cabal?

Would Musk be someone who might testify about something? Fraud in the government handouts for alternate energy?

Anyone? Bueller … Bueller?

Schiff: ‘Deeply disturbing’ that FBI gave Nunes confidential info on Clinton's emails

The House Intelligence Committee's top Democrat, Adam Schiff (Calif.), said Sunday it was “deeply disturbing” that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) received classified information about Hillary Clinton’s emails from FBI field agents in 2016.
“This is the first that we've heard about it, and it is deeply disturbing because if this was shared by New York field agents with Devin Nunes, was it also shared with Rudy Giuliani? Or did Devin Nunes do something, which we have seen subsequently, which is coordinated with the Trump team?” Schiff said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“Was this information shared by the committee with Rudy Giuliani or shared directly with them? We don't know the answer but we hope the inspector general will find out,” Schiff added.
Nunes said last week that FBI agents gave him information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, which were contained on former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner's (D) laptop, in late September 2016.
"We had whistleblowers that came to us in late September of 2016 who talked to us about this laptop sitting up in New York that had additional emails on it. The House Intelligence Committee, we had that, but we couldn't do anything with it,” Nunes told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on Thursday.
Nunes said that, because the information was classified, he could not say anything about it until the Justice Department's (DOJ) internal watchdog released its report last week.
Former FBI Director James Comey formally notified Congress about Clinton’s emails that were on Weiner’s laptop in October, less than two weeks before the 2016 presidential election.
The DOJ's inspector general report was highly critical of Comey for exhibiting what it deemed to be poor judgment during the election, but found no evidence to show that his key decisions in the probe of Clinton's emails were improperly influenced by political bias.
Schiff has frequently criticized Nunes, particularly for his handling of the probe into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
